What can I do if I fail to launch a meeting/webinar from web browser?

There are difference cases when you launch a meeting/webinar from the web. Check which case is the same to you and find the right way to start your meeting/webinar.

Case 1. You have never downloaded the app before and you start a meeting/webinar from web user center page

Step 1: Click on Host a meeting/Webinar from the dashboard. 

Step 2: The browser will automatically download the app.

Step 3: You need to find the downloaded file on the bottom of the left corner and install the app.

Step 4: After successfully installed the app, it will automatically enter the meeting/webinar room.

Case 2. You have already downloaded and installed the app and you start a meeting/webinar from web user center page

Step 1: Click on Host a meeting/Webinar from the dashboard. 

Step 2: The browser will pop up a window to open the ezTalks launcher. 

Step 3: Click on Open ezTalks Launcher and you will enter the meeting room.

Case 3 You do not know if you have downloaded and installed the app or not and it shows " Launching" all the time.

If you do not know whether you have downloaded or installed the app, and you start a meeting/webinar from the web user center page, but the page shows "Launching" all the time, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

Step 1: Check the taskbar on the bottom and see if you can find a blue ez icon as below. If yes, click on it:

Step 2: If there is no ez icon, that means the ezTalks app is not installed. You can click on download & run ezTalks on that page and install the app first:

Alternatively, go to the download center to download and install it.

Step 3: After you installed the app, you can click on Host Meeting again and it should launch the app:

Case 4 You have downloaded and installed the app but it shows " Launching" all the time.

There might be firewall or anti-virus software that blocks the browser from launching the ezTalks app from web. You can directly use the app to host a meeting or webinar.

Step 1: Go to the download center to download and install the app first.

Step 2: Sign in the ezTalks app, go to the Meetings page and you start an instant meeting or scheduled meeting.
